By registering for any Fours Touch Football event, competition, clinic, or program (“Event”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By completing a registration and/or making payment, you confirm that you (or your child, if registering on their behalf) have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. These Terms apply to all players, parents/guardians, coaches, and team officials.
2. Eligibility & Registration
- All participants must be registered through the official Fours Touch Football registration system.
- Registration is not confirmed until all required information is submitted and payment (or approved payment plan) is completed.
- Participants must meet the age requirements of their nominated division at the time of the Event.
- Proof of age may be requested for junior divisions.
3. Payments & Fees
- Registration fees cover participation only and may include event administration, referees, insurance, and venue costs.
- Uniform fees (if applicable) are separate unless otherwise stated.
- All prices are listed in AUD.
- Payment plans, if offered, must be completed by the stated due dates.
- Failure to complete payments may result in removal from the Event without refund.
3.1 Team Registrations
By registering a team and signing or accepting the Terms & Conditions on the Team Registration, the Team Manager (or nominated representative) agrees to be personally responsible for payment of all fees associated with the team. All fees must be paid by the due date specified at the time of registration or invoicing. Failure to pay any outstanding amount by the due date will result in the full balance becoming immediately payable.
If payment remains outstanding after the due date, Fours Touch Football reserves the right to:
- Suspend or cancel the team’s participation in the competition;
- Withhold fixtures, results, finals eligibility, or prizes; and
- Refer the outstanding debt to a third-party debt collection agency.
The Team Manager agrees to be liable for all reasonable costs incurred in recovering overdue payments, including but not limited to debt collection fees, administrative costs, and legal expenses, to the extent permitted by law.
4. Withdrawals, Refunds & Transfers
- Change of mind: No refunds will be issued for withdrawals after registration deadlines.
- Late withdrawals: Withdrawals after uniforms are ordered are not eligible for a refund due to production costs.
- Medical withdrawals: Partial refunds or credits may be considered with supporting medical documentation, at the discretion of Fours Touch Football.
- Event cancellation: If an Event is cancelled by Fours Touch Football, a refund or credit will be offered, excluding any non-recoverable costs.
- Registrations are non-transferable unless approved in writing.
5. Uniforms
- Where uniforms are required, sizing must be confirmed by the stated deadline.
- Once uniforms are ordered, no changes or refunds are available.
- Replacement uniforms due to incorrect sizing selection are the responsibility of the participant.
6. Code of Conduct
All participants agree to:
- Respect referees, officials, staff, and other participants
- Play within the spirit and rules of Fours Touch Football
- Refrain from abusive, aggressive, or unsportsmanlike behaviour
Fours Touch Football reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate. No refund will be provided in these circumstances.
7. Rules & Competition Format
- All Events are played under the official Fours Touch Football ruleset.
- Rules, formats, and schedules may be adjusted for safety, fairness, or operational reasons.
- Referee decisions are final.
8. Weather & Force Majeure
- Events may proceed in wet weather unless deemed unsafe.
- No refunds will be issued for shortened, delayed, or rescheduled matches due to weather, venue issues, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, including extreme weather, government restrictions, or venue closures.
9. Health & Safety
- Participants confirm they are physically fit to participate.
- Any medical conditions must be disclosed during registration.
- Participants play at their own risk.
- Parents/guardians remain responsible for junior participants outside of game time unless supervised by event staff.
10. Insurance & Liability
- Fours Touch Football holds Public Liability Insurance covering the organisation, officials, referees, and volunteers for approved Events.
- At this time, individual player insurance is not provided.
- By registering, participants (or parents/guardians for junior participants) acknowledge they are responsible for their own personal insurance, including health, accident, and injury cover.
- Participants acknowledge that participation in sporting activities involves inherent risks and confirm they voluntarily accept those risks.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fours Touch Football is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or death sustained during participation, except where required by law or where caused by proven negligence.
- Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings brought to the venue.
Fours Touch Football is actively working toward securing individual player insurance as the sport continues to grow.
11. Media & Marketing
- By registering, participants consent to photography and video being taken during Events.
- Fours Touch Football may use this content for marketing, promotional, and social media purposes.
- If consent is not provided, written notice must be submitted prior to the Event.
12. Privacy
- Personal information is collected for event administration and communication.
- Information is handled in accordance with Australian Privacy Principles.
- Data will not be shared with third parties except where required for event delivery or legal compliance.
13. Amendments
Fours Touch Football reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published through official Fours Touch Football channels.
