These terms apply when you use the Fours Touch Football website, buy products from our store or register for a Fours Touch Football competition, event, clinic or program. Event-specific information shown at registration, including dates, fees, division criteria and deadlines, also forms part of your registration terms.
By placing an order or completing a registration, you agree to the terms that apply at that time. If you register a child, you confirm that you are their parent or guardian, or are authorised to register them.
1. Orders and payments
Please provide accurate contact, delivery and registration details. Prices and any applicable delivery charges are displayed before you complete checkout. If a price, product or event detail is clearly incorrect, we will contact you to resolve the issue before fulfilling the affected order.
An order or registration is confirmed when payment has been accepted and we send confirmation, or when we approve another payment arrangement. Any payment plan offered for an event must be completed by its stated due dates.
2. Products and sizing
Product descriptions, sizing charts and images are provided to help you choose. Colours may appear slightly different on different screens, and garment measurements may vary slightly through production.
Please check the details of a made-to-order product carefully before placing your order. If you notice a mistake, contact us promptly. We will let you know whether it can be corrected before production.
Our Shipping Policy explains production and delivery. Our Refund Policy explains change-of-mind requests and your rights if a product has a problem.
3. Event registration and eligibility
Participants must be registered through the process specified for the event. They must meet the division’s eligibility requirements, including any age or team composition rules published for that event. We may request information reasonably needed to verify eligibility.
A registration is for the named participant or team. If you need to replace a player or transfer a place, contact us before the event so we can check the applicable event rules and update the registration.
Team organisers who register others must have authority to provide their details and must pass relevant event information on to their players and, for juniors, their parents or guardians.
4. Team fees
The person registering a team is responsible for ensuring the team fee is paid by the stated deadline, unless we have agreed to another arrangement. Where we require a team manager to accept personal responsibility for an outstanding balance, that responsibility will be made clear during registration or in a separately accepted agreement.
If a fee remains unpaid, we may contact the team organiser and, after giving a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue, suspend or cancel the affected registration. We will handle any payment or refund in accordance with the agreement and applicable law.
5. Rules and conduct
Participants must follow the published Fours Touch Football rules, event instructions and reasonable directions from referees and event staff. Players, coaches, team officials and spectators must treat others respectfully and must not engage in abuse, threats, harassment or unsafe conduct.
We may take reasonable steps to address misconduct, including warnings, match penalties or removal from an event. Decisions about play and event operations will be made under the applicable rules. A participant may ask us to review an administrative or disciplinary matter by emailing admin@fourstouch.com.au.
6. Safety and junior participants
Touch football involves physical activity and a risk of injury. Participants should consider whether they are able to take part safely and tell event staff about a relevant safety concern when assistance may be needed. In an emergency, event staff may seek appropriate medical assistance.
Parents and guardians remain responsible for arranging supervision of junior participants before and after their scheduled activities, unless a particular program expressly provides otherwise.
Fours does not currently provide individual player injury insurance. Participants and families should make their own decision about personal cover. This statement does not limit any rights or responsibilities that apply under law.
7. Event schedules and changes
Fixtures, fields, start times and competition formats may need to change for safety, weather, venue availability or event operations. We will communicate material changes through the contact details provided at registration and any relevant event channels.
Our Refund Policy explains how we handle withdrawals, cancellations and significant event changes. Nothing in these terms removes a remedy available under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Photography and personal information
Events may be photographed or filmed. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and event images, including how to raise a concern about an image of yourself or your child. Any specific photography consent choices presented during registration will also apply.
9. Website content
The Fours name, logos, designs, photographs, videos, written materials and other website content belong to Fours or their respective owners. You may use the website for personal, lawful purposes. Please do not reproduce or use our content commercially without permission.
Links to third-party websites or services are provided for convenience. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply when you use them.
10. Consumer rights and liability
Products and services come with rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those rights or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control. We do not exclude responsibility where doing so would be unlawful.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms by posting a new version on our website. The version in effect when you place an order or complete a registration will apply to that purchase, subject to any change you later agree to.
